Technion Centennial BME HACK 2025
After a challenging and complex year, the annual hackathon of the Technion's Faculty of Biomedical Engineering is back!
We are proud to present Technion Centennial BME HACK 2025, a hackathon focused on the field of biomedical engineering.
This year's theme is "Innovating Care: From Emergency to Recovery", emphasizing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between critical emergencies and effective rehabilitation.
The hackathon will host up to 50 participants, including students from the Technion (Israel) and international guest students.
The goal of Technion Centennial BME-Hack is to immerse students in the experience and challenges of founding a biomedical start-up. Throughout the event, participants from diverse academic backgrounds and nationalities will work together to tackle medical challenges using engineering-based approaches.
The program includes team formation around health-related challenges, expert-led lectures, collaborative teamwork with mentorship from professionals in relevant fields (e.g., biomedical industry, venture investment, entrepreneurship, and medicine), and a competition where teams will present their solutions and business potential through concise presentations.
The event and competition are organized by the Technion Faculty of Biomedical Engineering in collaboration with the Technion Centennial BME-Hack Committee, established specifically for this event.
